Good afternoon everyone,

You may have heard through the grapevine that QHEPS hosted a few very important visitors this morning including our NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, our Education Minister Rob Stokes, our local member Mr Kevin Conolly and our school Director Mr Rick Seretis.

QHEPS was chosen as the ground for the change to the rules relating to crossing supervisors as we recently applied for supervisors on our two school crossings but were unsuccessful.

Great news for us! Our pedestrian crossing on Chase Drive will be manned by a “lollipop” person in the very near future! We are so pleased with this announcement as it adds a much needed layer of safety for our students as they travel to and from school.

Keep an eye out on the news channels tonight to get a glimpse of our visitors and of course, our wonderful students and community members.
